CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly innovative and expanding Energy firm with offices Internationally, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and well-qualified candidate for the position of Test/QA Engineer.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
Direct involvement in the development process based on Agile principles.
Programming of automated test procedures using tools commonly used in this context.
Generation of test data.
Execution, analysis and documentation of tests .
Evaluation and communication of test results and test coverage.
Creation of test specifications, test plans and test execution plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Support in system integration and installation of test systems.
Permanent optimization of test methods and procedures.
Establishing of Agile test methods into our development processes.
Key Skill / Experience:
University degree in informatics, information technology or comparable qualification.
Highest level of quality awareness and solid knowledge regarding test procedures in the software development process.
Experience as test engineer in the context of Java or .NET C#.
Experience in the context of Agile software development and appropriate test methods.
Experience in continuous delivery process as well as to work with build-/delivery tools like Maven/Jenkins or TeamCity.
Experience in integrating automated tests in the build/delivery chain.
Knowledge regarding operating systems Linux and Microsoft Windows as well as on relational databases systems, especially on Oracle RDBMS.
Solution oriented, service based and customer oriented approach to all tasks.
Aiming for a high level of automation in all processes.
Teamwork capability, high level of social competence and ability to motivate people.
Openness and flexibility in dealing with new challenges.
Excellent skills in English language.
