Responsible for the domestic and international procurement of production raw materials and fabricated materials to support production and sales demand of the manufacturing company’s facilities.
Sourcing of new Vendors and Vendor Qualification, including Vendor Auditing and contract negotiation.
Ensuring that the company has a capable and reliable supplier base at all times so that the costs of storage can be minimized by the short-term delivery capability of our suppliers.
Ensuring the supply of the company, with the necessary materials and services for maintaining proper operation and competitiveness, at favourable conditions and at the required level of quality.
For procurement achieving the maximum value with regard to the intended use of the goods to be procured, or the service to be rendered exploiting cost reduction potentials.
Reducing the direct, and indirect costs, associated with the procurement of the required goods and services to a minimum without compromising quality as a result.
Purchase prices enable a large return on our products.
Inquiring places in the company are immediately informed about the availability, or delivery times of individual materials and purchased parts.
The defined cost budget as well as the defined objective and scheduling requirements are met;
Business secrets and the confidentiality of internal and external data, which is not generally available, are safeguarded.
The company's reputation is both internally and externally solidified and strengthened as an efficient and modern enterprise.
Distribution of procurement contracts to various suppliers so that the company is not depended on individual suppliers.
Organizing and cooperating with the other departments of the company so that the flow of information runs smoothly at all times and overall a good working relationship is guaranteed.
Negotiating prices and conditions so that the company remains competitive from the point of view of the procurement prices.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business economics. MBA is desirable.
10 -15 years of experience in international Procurement and Supply Chain Management leading roles in large multinational environments.
Extensive industrial experience in electrotechnics, energy infrastructure and telecommunication.
Familiarity with international manufacturing standards.
Advanced Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems and proficient computer skills.
ISO 9001, 14000 experience with process documentation and system audits.
Excellent English language skills.
Very good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel internationally, approximately 30%.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible growth environment.
Ability to adapt to different client needs and to develop and maintain successful working relationships.
A flair for negotiation and networking and a confident approach.
